چکیده

Reconstruction of the dynamics (quantum process tomography) of the single-exciton manifold in energy transfer systems is proposed here on the basis of two-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy (2D-FS) with phase-modulation. The quantum-process-tomography protocol introduced here benefits from, e.g., the sensitivity enhancement ascribed to 2D-FS. Although the isotropically averaged spectroscopic signals depend on the quantum yield parameter Γ of the doubly excited-exciton manifold, it is shown that the reconstruction of the dynamics is insensitive to this parameter. Applications to foundational and applied problems, as well as further extensions, are discussed.

The effect of concentration and time of hydrothermal process on the fluorescent property of Molybdenum Diselenide nano-layers

The group of 2D materials contains almost all the elements of the periodic table. In contrast to the graphene sheet, they are abundant, this creates a variety of electronic properties including metals, semimetals, insulators and semiconductors. Band gaps of these materials are direct or indirect by ranging from ultraviolet to infrared, for this reason, have received much attention for nanoelect...

Fluorescence Lifetime Spectroscopy in Mu1tipleScattenng Environments: An Application to Biotechnology

Over the past few years, there has been significant research activity devoted to the application of fluorescence spectroscopy to strongly scattering media, where photons propagate diffusely. Much ofthis activity focused on fluorescence as a source of contrast enhancement in optical tomography. Our efforts have emphasized the quantitative recovery of fluorescence parameters for spectroscopy. Usi...

2D fluorescence spectroscopy for real-time aggregation monitoring in upstream processing

Introduction Product aggregation is one side effect of rising yields due to process improvement and therefore accompanied with massive product loss during downstream processing (DSP). But it is already in literature described, that product aggregation also occurs during the fermentation process and is caused by various process operations [1]. Real-time bioprocess monitoring and thus on-line pro...

Optimization via specific fluorescence brightness of a receptor-targeted probe for optical imaging and positron emission tomography of sentinel lymph nodes.

The optical properties of a receptor-targeted probe designed for dual-modality mapping of the sentinel lymph node (SLN) was optimized. Specific fluorescence brightness was used as the design criterion, which was defined as the fluorescence brightness per mole of the contrast agent. Adjusting the molar ratio of the coupling reactants, IRDye 800CW-NHS-ester and tilmanocept, enabled us to control ...

Time-to-Digital Converter card for multichannel time-resolved Single-Photon Counting applications

We present a high performance Time-to-Digital Converter (TDC) card that provides 10 ps timing resolution and 20 ps (rms) timing precision with a programmable full-scale-range from 160 ns to 10 μs. Differential Non-Linearity (DNL) is better than 1.3% LSB (rms) and Integral Non-Linearity (INL) is 5 ps rms. Thanks to the low power consumption (400 mW) and the compact size (78 mm x 28 mm x 10 mm), ...
